Sara Alterations blossomed from a love of sewing as an art. Sara (business operator) came from a family where everybody loved learning art. Sara learned to enjoy sewing, baking, and painting. She thought of someday becoming a garment designer. She took courses in sewing in 2003 and also received certificate of technical and vocational skill in the field of “female delicate tailoring” in 2004. Sara wanted to someday own her own sewing service. Then she could design custom clothes for people.
Sara knew that she needed experience after graduating from sewing school, before going into a business of her own. She gained experience making and cutting patterns, draping fabric and even designing clothing. At first she sewed at home in her house for friends and neighbors. Sara loved sewing and working with people. Then Sara worked for some of alterations and sewing business for several years.
